Paranormal Tendencies' Review of Spark Book 1
I
am not usually one for books that revolve around dragons , but K.C.
Stewart sure changed my mind about that. I enjoyed every moment of
this book and jumped right into the next; I didn't even take
a break between books!
The
story is about Hailey, a young, witty, & sarcastic girl who finds
herself pulled into a world she never even dreamed existed. I found
myself laughing out loud at some of the things she says.
Then there's Dacea ,a powerful red dragon who finds himself in a heap
of chaos after a failed murder attempt on his life by a rival dragon
clan. Which leaves him without a physical body and merged with Hailey. I couldn't help
but fall in love with Dacea. He was hot!
Throw
in a goddess, witch, and harpies and you've got a book that
will entertain and keep you up all night just to find out what comes
next.
Very
well written, and can be read as a stand alone. If you're like me and get inpatient hanging from a cliff, this book is for you.
Paranormal Tendencies gives Spark 5 stars!
Paranormal Tendencies' Review of Singe
K.C. Stewart has done it again! Well that's not actually correct. K.C.
Stewart hasn't just done it again she blew spark out of the water with
this one!!
At this point in the series Hailey and Daeca are no longer sharing one
body, but can't seem to accept or come to terms with what that means in
terms their relationship. Before they get the
chance to figure it out Hailey is kidnapped and held hostage by Daeca's
worst enemy Silas and Daeca's first mate Katherine the harpie. But not
everything is as crystal clear as you think it is. Silas just might not
be the bad guy Hailey and Daeca he's made out to be. Silas has a secret he wants to share.
Hailey's character has come a long way. She has grown with each page
turned. However, the wise cracking ,witty young woman has more twists and
turns in store.
Daeca has teamed up once again with Lia the goddess and the witch Darby
to rescue Hailey before its to late. Katherine has other plans, but
will Silas' secret stop her in her tracks?
The whole cauldron bubbling over in this one, with the perfect mixture
of paranormal. I love where this series is going! Keep writing K.C. Stewart and I will keep reading. Another 5 stars!
K.C. Stewart lives in central Pennsylvania with her three cats. She is currently attending college online for Library Science while working full time as a photographer. In her spare time, which isn’t easy to find, she reads an obnoxious amount and writes in between everything else. K.C. has a very real addiction to gummy bears and talking to her cats when no one is around.
